Festival Amidst The Pandemic




          A national festival is an occasion to refine and rebuild the national character.        Kannawidan Festival is a festival at the end of January celebrates the best of Ilocos Sur culture, from traditional dress and folk dance to tribal rituals and marching band contests.  

           Kannawidan Festival is very significant to everyone because this is a celebration where talents are being show case not just talent but the different rituals and cultures that this festival shows to everyone. Its very important that we still continue to celebrate this Festival amidst this pandemic to reduce negativity that keeps on affecting oneself and let this festival show chances and relieve the sadness of everybody. Let this Festival be a entertainment for a better cause to everybody. Lets continue to support our local government so that we could continue to celebrate this very important festival for every Ilocanos.

           The festivals are like a map charting our spiritual progress in God. Lets continue to give significant to this celebration to  promote diversity, they bring neighbor's into dialogue, they increase creativity, they offer opportunities for civic pride, they improve our general psychological well-being. In short, they make cities better places to live.
